Katrina Kaif confirms relationship with Salman Khan

Breaking News! Putting an end to all rumours and speculations, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif confirmed her relationship with actor Salman Khan. Katrina also admitted that she has been dating Salman Khan for years. She also dismissed all rumours that they have broken up. "I and Salman have been in this relationship for the past six years", said Katrina to a Film Magazine.

Katrina also said that they kept their relationship a low key affair, as they did not want to discuss it publicly. This is for the first time Katrina spoke openly about her private life.

Katrina Kaif is the latest heartthrob in Bollywood and has taken the No. 1 spot after the departure of Aishwarya Rai, who cut down on her films after her marriage to Abhishek Bachchan. Katrina is high on demand in the film industry with the producers and directors lining up to sign her.

If actors are equipped in throwing tantrums to their actor friends and showed their smartness in naming their pet in the name of their rival then why not the aam jantas. In the reality game show hosted by Salman Khan, ‘Dus Ka Dum’, a doodh wala (Milkman) set the show on fire with his tongue-in-cheeks jokes and even left Salman Khan behind who is known for his humorous comments. The studio audience broke into laughter when the dhoodh wala quipped that he named his buffalo after the name of Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Rai.

Salman Khan who is known for his hilarious comment and presence of mind remained stand still when the Milkman commented wild about his love. Apart from all those funny comments, Salman Khan also learnt how to wear dhoti from the Milkman and enjoyed the jokes cut on him, Katrina and Aishwarya.

Two guys not enough for Katrina in Dostana 2

We’ve all heard of ‘three men and a little lady’ but now get ready for ‘four men and a stunning heroine’ as Katrina Kaif has been signed as the star of the sequel to Dostana.

Not only will John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan romance Kat but will now have Arjun Rampal and Ritesh Deshmukh after her too!

Dostana 2 brings together the dream team of the original film in director, Tarun Mansukhani and producer Karan Johar. They have the perfect script and now the perfect girl to match the role.

Katrina has been traveling the globe recently, after spending her birthday in London; she then headed to Spain for a holiday. The actress is now in New York before she jets to Chicago to help celebrate Independence Day.

A source said, “Katrina was chosen to play the female lead after much deliberation.”

So what actually clinched it for Kat? Actually, it was YOU! Yes, that’s right, give yourselves some credit as the source went on to say: “they felt that Katrina’s ‘most hit’ status on the Internet makes it apt for her to play the role of the ‘most hit’ girl by the boys in Dostana 2.”

What can we say? We all love Katrina.

Katrina Kaif only Akshay Kumar's arm candy

Even though Katrina Kaif is fed up of posing as arm candy, she agreed to star in De Dana Dan only because of close friend Akshay Kumar. Ask her why exactly did she agree to star in the film, and Katrina replies honestly, “My reason for accepting this film is only because Akshay asked me if I would do it.”

She adds, “Akshay is a friend and I could never refuse. The two of us have given some of the biggest hits together. When I learnt De Dana Dan is Akshay’s home production (Akshay’s Hari Om Productions is producing the film in partnership with Ratan Jain’s Venus Productions) I said yes without hesitation.”

Katrina, who is quite determined to get her ‘act’ together and be very careful about the roles she chooses now on says that De Dana Dan is the only exception to her new decree. She says, “I have played the arm candy in one too many films in the past.” Remember her successful films like Welcome, Singh is Kingg, Partner and Race?

It was New York that changed her perception. “Post New York, I have Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti where I’m the only girl with superb male actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Manoj Bajpai, Nana Patekar and Arjun Rampal. It is a performance oriented film for me and that’s the way I would ideally like most of my future films to be,” she adds.

Now that Katrina has set her bar high, she has consciously not signed too many films post New York. However, she is prepared for being overshadowed by De Dana Dan’s starcast, “It has a host of almost 22 super actors. Obviously, there may not be too much of me on screen,” she admits.

Katrina had a ball with sisters in Spain

Bollywood serene beauty Katrina Kaif had a gala time in Spain with her six sisters and one brother Michael. Katrina had a grand union with her family on her birthday and flew to Spain to spend a quality time together excluded media attention and public glare. It was a complete cozy get together.

"It was quite a glamorous sight, if I say so myself, to see six similar-looking women accompanied by one 30-year-old handsome guy (my brother Michael) in restaurants in Spain. We formed a secret society that quite comfortable excluded everyone around. We were just happy being one big family," said Katrina who received rave reviews for her film, ‘New york’.

Spanish is unknown to all seven of them except the one who knows Spanish well as she has a Spanish connection. Kat’s one of the sisters has a Mexican boyfriend and as a result she knows to speak fluent Spanish and she had received all the attentions in Marbella.

After a month long holiday with family, Katrina is getting ready to head back to Mumbai her second home and again focus on career. Speaking about her birthday, she said, "This has to be the best birthday of my life. I had the time of my life. It's quite a sight to see all us sisters and our protective brother walking together. I must say all my sisters are better looking than I am."

Before heading home, Katrina will fly to Chicago and Atlanta to take part in the Independence Day carnival in Chicago.
